Pinon HS Varsity Volleyball Team came on strong, winning the first two matches. Things turned around so fast that Sanders won the next two matches. The fifth and final match was close with Valley Sanders winning the game.
The JV Girls Volleyball team also came up short against Valley Sanders.
Good Job Ladies! We are only at the beginning of the Fall Season. Keep your heads up!
PHS vs Ganado HS Sept. 07, 2022 @ 4/5PM
Congratulations to the PHS Girls Volleyball team for redeeming their loss on Saturday by beating the Ganado Hornets last night in five games. The matches were going back and forth, leading up to the fifth match. With a close match PHS pulled out a win (3-2), extending their record to 1-1. Good Job Ladies!
PHS @ Spartan VB Classic Tournament Sept. 09, 2022
Friday, PHS Volleyball team traveled to Ash Fork HS for a tournament. The PHS Volleyball team was ready to play, Pinon went undefeated during the tournament, facing Ash Fork Friday evening, Bagdad Saturday morning, Grand Canyon, and finally meeting up with Ash Fork again for the Championship game. Congratulations to the PHS Volleyball Team and Coaches as they are the Ash Fork Volleyball Invite Champions. The All Tourney Awards went to both Mileila Chieg and Delyla Denny. Congratulations go out to the team and coaches!
PHS vs Greyhills Sept. 13, 2022 @3/430PM
The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ) and the visiting Greyhills Academy Fightin' Knights (Tuba City, AZ), saw Pinon's volleyball squad beat Greyhills Academy by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Pinon upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Eagles host Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ) to play the Bruins in a 2A - North bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Congratulations to the Varsity Lady Eagles Volleyball team for their Win in 3 Matches against Hopi. These ladies are getting stronger every game. The JV girls played an excellent game although coming up short on the tie breaker. Continue playing hard ladies!
