オンデマンド型とは
インターネットを利用し、非同期で教室授業の一部またはすべてを代替します。LMS（Learning Management System：学習管理システム）を使用して受講します。千葉大学で使用しているLMSは、千葉大学MoodleとGoogle Classroomです。教員の指示に従い、インターネット上で資料や講義ビデオを閲覧したり、課題の提出、小テストの受験を行います。
What is on-demand type?
It uses the Internet to replace part or all of on-site courses in an asynchronous manner. Courses are taken using an LMS (Learning Management System). The LMS used at Chiba University are Chiba University Moodle and Google Classroom. Students will view materials and lecture videos on the Internet, submit assignments, and take quizzes as instructed by the instructor.

＜クラスへのアクセス＞
Google WorkkspaceのClassroomアプリを使用する授業科目では、各学生がClassroomアプリを起動してクラスにアクセスして参加してください。
クラスには、履修登録操作から約1日後に自動的に登録されます。履修登録は充分な余裕をもって行ってください。

Google Classroomの操作方法（ログイン方法、履修した授業科目へのアクセス、課題、小テスト）については、「Google Workspaceアプリ Classroomの利用ガイド-学生向け-」に詳しい解説があります。
＜Access to the class＞
For classes that use the Google Workkspace Classroom app, each student should start the Classroom app to access and participate in the class.
You will be automatically registered for classes approximately one day after the course registration. Please allow sufficient time for the course registration.

＜Classroomアプリの起動＞
受講場所・環境の確認ページの手順でログイン後、「アプリ一覧」から「Classroom」を起動します。
初回のみ「生徒」をクリックして使用を開始します。
＜Start the Classroom app＞
After logging in according to the procedure on the Confirmation of location and environment to take online classes page, start "Classroom" from the "Apps List".
Click on "I'M A STUDENT" only the first time to start using the system.

＜クラスに投稿されたファイルを選択して表示し、ダウンロードするときの注意＞
Classroomに投稿されたファイルを選択すると、プレビュー画面で表示されます（CSV形式のように、対応するアプリのないファイルは、プレビューが表示されません）。
ダウンロードするときは、画面右上の「…」から「新しいウィンドウで開く」を選択し、新しいウィンドウで表示することで、ダウンロードできるようになります。
＜Note when selecting, viewing, and downloading files posted in a Classroom＞
When a file submitted to Classroom is selected, it will be displayed in the preview window (files without a corresponding application, such as CSV format, will not show a preview).
When downloading, select "..." in the upper right corner of the screen and select "Open in new window" to display the file in a new window.

＜クラスに投稿された動画や課題などに関するメール通知をオフにする際の注意＞
Classroomでは、動画や課題などが投稿されると、千葉大学Gmailにメールでの通知が届きます。しかし、多数の授業科目を履修していると、通知が多数届き、重要なメールに気づきにくくなってしまう場合もあり得ます。
メールでの通知は、オフにすることもできます。各学生が、自身の判断のもと、不必要な通知についてはオフにするなどして対応してください。通知をオフにした場合は、頻繁にクラスにアクセスするなどして、動画や課題などを見落とさないようよく注意してください。
＜Note on turning off email notifications regarding videos posted in Classroom, assignments, etc.＞
In Classroom, you will receive email notifications in your Chiba University Gmail when videos, assignments, etc. are posted. However, if you are enrolled in a large number of classes, you may receive a lot of notifications, making it difficult to notice important e-mails.
E-mail notifications can be turned off. Each student should use his/her own judgment and turn off unnecessary notifications.
If you turn off notifications, please access your Classrooms frequently and pay close attention so that you do not miss any videos or assignments.

＜ログインと使用方法＞
受講場所・環境の確認ページの手順でログイン後、画面中央列に「ダッシュボード」が表示されます。「すべてのコース」に履修登録した授業科目名が表示されます。
受講するコースにアクセスし、資料を熟読したり、音声や動画を再生したりして、メディア授業を受講してください。

＜Login and How to Use＞
After logging in using the procedures on the Confirmation of location and environment to take online classes page, the "Dashboard" will appear in the center column of the screen. The names of courses you have registered for will be displayed in the "All Courses" section.
Access the course you take, read the material, play the audio or video, and take the online class.

＜使用するブラウザ＞
動画視聴について、ブラウザはChromeを使用することを推奨します。
＜動画の視聴状況の保存＞
千葉大学Moodleで音声や動画を最後まで（再生が止まるまで）視聴したら、視聴情報を確実に記録するため、以下1.～3.の操作を必ず実施してから別の画面に移動してください。
環境によって、その操作を行わずに「活動を抜ける」ボタンで別の画面に移動すると、視聴情報が適切に記録されない場合があります。
(1)動画左上「視聴状況」の部分を確認する。この値（％）がMoodleに記録されます。
(2)ブラウザの〔戻る・進む〕を使わない。これらの操作で動画に戻ると視聴状況が失われます。
(3)同じ動画を同時に複数開かない。視聴状況が小さな値（％）で上書きされます。
＜Browser to use＞
For video viewing, we recommend using Chrome as your browser.
＜Saving video viewings＞
Once you have watched an audio or video in Chiba University Moodle to the end (until it stops playing), please be sure to perform steps 1. through 3. below before moving to another screen in order to ensure that your viewing information is recorded.
Depending on the environment, viewing information may not be properly recorded if you move to another screen using the "Exit Activity" button without performing that operation.
(1)Check the "Viewing Status" section in the upper left corner of the video. This value (%) will be recorded in Moodle.
(2)Do not use the browser's [Back/Forward] function. If you use these operations to return to the video, you will lose your viewing status.
(3)Do not open more than one of the same video at the same time. The viewing status will be overwritten with a small value (%).
＜補足＞
メディア授業を受講する際、特に通信容量に上限のある回線で受講する場合は、通信容量を極力抑える必要があります。音声や動画の再生品質を落とすことで、通信容量を節約できます。ただし、再生品質を落としすぎると、画面内の文字が読みにくくなったり、音声が聞こえにくくなったりしますので注意してください。
Moodleを使ってメディア授業を受講する場合、再生画面下部の「パケット節約」モードを選択して音声や動画を再生してください。Mac、iPhone、iPad以外では、再生画面右下の「auto」となっている箇所を選択すると、再生品質を細かく調整することができます。「パケット節約」モードに該当するのは「360p」と「270p」です。
＜Supplementary Information＞
When taking online classes, especially if you are taking classes on a line with a communication capacity limit, you need to minimize the communication capacity as much as possible. By reducing the quality of audio and video playback, communication capacity can be saved. Note, however, that if the playback quality is reduced too much, the text on the screen may be difficult to read and the audio may be difficult to hear.
When using Moodle to take online classes, please select the "packet saving" mode at the bottom of the playback screen to play audio and video. Except for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, you can fine-tune the playback quality by selecting the area marked "auto" in the lower right corner of the playback screen. The "packet saving" mode applies to 360p and 270p.

＜補足：課題等で動画付きスライドをPowerPointを使用して作成する方法＞
PowerPointを使用して、動画付きのスライドを作成できます。作成方法は、スライドを参照してください（スライドは、教員向けに作成したものです）。
スライドを動画として保存するには、作成した動画の長さと同じくらいの時間を要する場合もあります。保存が完了するまでしばらく待ってください（故障やエラーではありません）。
＜補足：専用の機材を利用して動画等のコンテンツを作成する方法＞
アカデミック・リンク・センター2階のコンテンツ制作室では、専用の機材やミニスタジオを利用して動画等のコンテンツを作成できます。

＜Supplement: How to use PowerPoint to create slides with video for assignments, etc.＞
You can create slides with video using PowerPoint. Please refer to the slides for instructions on how to create them (the slides were created for faculty).
Saving your slides as a video may take as long as the length of the video you created. Please wait a few moments for the saving to complete (this is not a malfunction or error).
