Review of the "Reset Year"

We agreed, coming back to school, that we had learned things during the 3 years of COVID that we need to keep and we also need to look back to the years pre COVID and recover some practices of value.

We discovered that our staff needed this and so did our tauira. We spent time in the first 6 months getting clear about these things and in the 2nd 6 months began to really implement what the "reset" would look like. Along with this was a real drive to ge all our learners "back in the house".

It has been hard work and we entered the year tired. For all that our staff have been magnificent in focusing on what was needed, bring back certain kinds of creativity and working to put in place pedagogy that we had growing evidence to support.

I'm very proud of what we've been able to achieve and very grateful for our willing staff who have not complained but simply got on with it and given it their best shot.
