3 August 2026 – The Faculty of Science, welcomed delegates from the College of Life Science, National Taiwan University (NTU), and National Chiayi University to the PSU–NTU Symposium 2026, held at the Faculty of Science, PSU.

The symposium was opened by Prof. Dr. Anchana Prathep, Dean of the Faculty of Science, PSU, and Prof. Dr. Shih-Kuo Chen, Director of the Center for International Academic Exchange, College of Life Science, NTU. Prof. Hon-Tsen Yu was also specially recognized for his valuable contribution to the long-standing collaboration between PSU and NTU. 

Researchers from PSU and Taiwan shared their work through 16 presentations covering biomedical sciences, neuroscience, genomics, biodiversity, marine ecology, plant science, quantum computing, and climate change. The program concluded with networking discussions allowing participants to identify shared research interests and explore concrete possibilities for future cooperation.

The symposium reaffirmed the long-standing friendship between PSU and NTU and provided a valuable platform for developing the next chapter of our academic partnership.
