25 May 2026 - The Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led by Associate Professor Dr. Pimonsri Mittraparp-arthorn, welcomed Prof. Dr. Steven Edwards, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of Liverpool for discussions on student exchange opportunities and academic collaboration between the two institutions. Representatives from the fields of Biology, Microbiology, and Biotechnology also joined the meeting to discuss potential cooperation in academic and research activities.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Steven Edwards toured related laboratories.  Student exchange opportunities especially in form of a 6-week research shadowing program were of special interest during the discussions. 

This initial visit paves the way for international collaboration between the Faculty of Science and the University of Liverpool.
