23 July 2026 – The Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), welcomed Prof. Dr. Steven Edwards and Dr. Raheela Awais, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of Liverpool for a follow-up discussion on strengthening academic collaboration between the two institutions.

The meeting was led by Associate Professor Dr. Pimonsri Mittraparp-arthorn, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and International Relations, together with representatives from the fields of Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology and Biochemistry. The discussions focused on the development of a 6-week student exchange and research shadowing program, as well as the possibility of establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen long-term academic cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the faculty’s research laboratories to explore potential areas for future collaboration in research and student mobility.
