If yes to any of the above, good news:

Good news: RRISD hosts two very accessible Clothes Closets, whereby any family with kids in RRISD can outfit their children, assuring they're ready to learn.

Show up at any of the 2 clothes closets:

• Anderson Mill Elementary 10610 Salt Mill Hollow, Austin (Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to Noon) 

• Voigt Elementary 1201 Cushing Drive, Round Rock (Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and First Saturdays of the month 10 a.m to Noon)

Monday: Wear RED (We're RED-y to solve life's puzzle!)

Tuesday: Mismatched Clothes (Unscramble the pieces!)

Wednesday: Hat Day (Put on your thinking cap.)

Thursday: Trading places (students dress like adults, adults dress like students) (Every place counts in a healthy choice.)

Friday: Literary Character Day (Make a BOO-tiful choice and dress like your favorite literary character.)

We can't believe it either, but our teachers and staff are headed back to school very soon!  (Some are already there.)  Please help us fill their bodies so they can fill our students buckets.  Please consider signing up to donate a food item here for a "Welcome Staff Breakfast" on  August 11.  

Drop off will start at 7:15 am with breakfast being served to staff at 8.  

If you do sign up for coffee please make sure to order in advance.

We are so excited that your child is coming to Kindergarten at Pond Springs in the fall! To get to know our new Pioneers well, our Kinder teachers would like to invite you to schedule an optional Kindergarten screening appointment. These are short (15 min.) appointments where children's knowledge in letter and sound identification, number recognition, shapes and colors is assessed through conversation with our staff. There is also a parent questionnaire to complete while the children are with the teacher so we can learn more about your child. The dates/times for the pre-screening appointments are as follows: 

July 28: 8:00 am-12:00 pm

July 29: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm

If you are unable to make either of these dates, please do not stress about it. We will be able to assess your child once the school year begins. To sign up for a Kindergarten screening appointment, simply click on THIS LINK and fill out the Sign Up Genius form that has been created. We have two teachers assessing in each time slot. Please take a moment when you sign up to ensure that all of the required information fields are filled out, including your child's name.
