Message from Hospitality Team - For October's Teacher Appreciation

On Wednesday, Oct. 21st, the PTA Teacher Appreciation committee served lunch to all of the PSE team members and created a cozy fall space for them to relax and unwind as they ate.

This catering from Central Market is made possible because of our members and sponsors.

Thanks to each PTA member for TREATING our teachers yesterday without any tricks! 🎃

The votes are in and we have a T-shirt winner for 26-27! It was a hard choice as we had so many wonderful designs. We appreciate everyone who submitted a design.

Our PTA team narrowed down the choices and our students voted on the final winner.

Our shirt design winner is Matthew Suttles, who is a parent of Kindergarten student Isaac. Congratulations Matthew!!

🏫Round Rock ISD teachers and staff show up for our kids everyday. Join the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs in voting for Prop A in this November’s Election (11/3).

🏫How Does This Affect Our Children, Teachers and School District?

These raises reach hourly staff across every campus — classrooms, front offices, custodial teams and bus routes. Prop A also funds a 2% pay-range-midpoint raise for every other RRISD employee not otherwise covered.

Marco's pizza box nights have been scheduled!

This is a big Spirit Night Fundraiser for PSE that takes place throughout the year based on Grade Levels.

How it Works...

Students will decorate their pizza boxes in Art class.

Boxes will be delivered to Marco's Pizza (Duval and 183 location).

On your Grade Level night, you can order pizza, and it will be served in your child's decorated pizza box.

20% of all orders will be donated back to PSE.

Parent permission WILL BE REQUIRED to send your child's pizza box to Marco's. Permission forms will go out closer to each grade level date.

Calling all Local Businesses! The 15th Annual Ranger Run is coming up on Nov 7th. This popular event happens right in our neighborhood. We'd love to help promote your business by partnering with you as a Sponsor for our Run.

Sponsorship levels start at just $100 and include recognition on our PTA website and social media. For just $500 your logo will be featured on our shirt, given to all of our participants. This event provides the majority of our funding for the year. All funds go to the Deerpark MS PTA and provide support for our students and staff.

Deerpark Ranger Run

When: Saturday, 11/7 at 9 am at Rattan Creek Park

🏃‍♀️ Lace Up for the 15th Annual Ranger Run! 🏃‍♂️

The Ranger Run is Deerpark Middle School’s biggest fundraiser and a beloved tradition that brings our schools and community together! This family-friendly event offers something for everyone, including a chip-timed 5K at 9:00 AM and a 1-Mile Fun Run for those looking for a shorter challenge.

Community members are welcome and encouraged to join the fun—and there’s even a little friendly competition between Deerpark’s feeder elementary schools! The elementary school with the most registered runners will take home a special award. Grab your family, friends, and running shoes, and help us make the 15th Annual Ranger Run the biggest one yet!

You Can Help... To Make Things Happen

Help us ReStock the Pioneer Pantry!

Please consider bringing a canned good for our pantry on Curriculum Night, August 27th. You can drop it off in the grocery cart by the front office!

Our community built this food and resource pantry last year, and it was a huge help to many families. We will re-open the pantry on Friday, August 28th from 11am-1pm in the PTA portable.

Family Nights Help Needed!

We're looking for 2-3 volunteers to join our PSE Family Nights Committee. Family Nights are free events that PSE puts on for our school community.

We already have 3 planned for this year, but we need help to make sure they happen! Our Family Nights Committee will help organize volunteers and plan the food/activities for each event. PTA board members will support the committee, so even if you don't have experience, we'll help you out!

Never done this before? That's ok! All materials and vendors are in place to ensure these nights are successful. We just need extra hands to help out.

Have bigger ideas? Want to try something new? We got you too! We love finding ways to make these events even more special for families so we welcome any new ideas.
