The deadline to register to vote: Monday, February 2
If you are new to the area and need to update your information or would like to register to vote for the first time (or have any questions), you can reach out to Ramon Telles Jr, the PTA Advocacy Chair: r.tellesjr@gmail.com.
If you have any high school seniors turning 18, they can register to vote if they are 17 years and 10 months old (or will be 18 by Election Day).

Special Thanks to those who showed up and helped coordinating this group from PSE
Pond Springs PTA joined PTAs from across Texas to advocate for increased public education funding and to say no to vouchers. We were honored to hear from State Representative John Bucy, who provided updates on current legislation and what we can do to advocate for public education funding. We were also happy to be joined by RRISD Superintendent Dr. Hafedh Azaiez.

We will be advocating on behalf of public education at the Capitol with our fellow PTAs from across Texas on February 24. It's important we turn out so our state leaders can hear how important public education is for Texas and stress the importance of a properly funded public education system.
