Rule of Thumb
This is a family event. All acts must be appropriate for all ages. Please carefully review lyrics of songs to make sure there are no offensive words or phrases. No inappropriate clothing or gestures.
To ensure everyone gets a chance to perform, please limit to one performances per student at a maximum of 1.5 - 2 minutes.
Important Dates & Information
Auditions: 3/4 (T) & 3/7 (F)
Everyone who auditions performs at the Variety Show!
The auditions serve as an opportunity for the Variety Show committee to view the performance, develop a program for the evening, and tackle any equipment or prop requirements. Please try your best not to change acts or music selection after Auditions.
Participants only need to attend ONE audition, either Tuesday, March 4th or Thursday, March 7th at 3:00 p.m in the PSE Music Room. Participants may leave once they have shown us their act!

Mandatory Rehearsal: 4/3 (TH)
Rehearsal is mandatory and will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 4:30 p.m in the Deer Park Middle School cafeteria. Please plan to arrive in full costume with all your props/equipment.

Please upload you music below or email Nathan at npanderson1027@gmail.com, edited to 1.5 - 2.0 minutes. Please let us know if you need assistance. (YouTube is a good option for this!)

Equipment Available
PSE PTA will provide microphones, one guitar amp, one bass amp, and one keyboard.

Emcee Sign-up (5th Graders Only)
We are inviting 5th grade students to Emcee (introduce acts). All emcee's must have
a permission form and
attend an audition,
attend dress rehearsal, and
a workshop during the school day (more info to follow)
