Air rifle marksmanship is a precision sport that emphasizes discipline, focus, and control. As part of our JROTC program, the marksmanship team trains cadets in the fundamentals of safe firearm handling, proper shooting techniques, and competitive shooting. Using .177 caliber air rifles, cadets compete in three positions—prone, standing, and kneeling—testing their accuracy and consistency. Stay updated for our plans this year!

Color Guard is a ceremonial unit within JROTC that presents and honors the American flag and other official colors at school, community, and military events. Comprised of disciplined cadets, the Color Guard team performs formal flag ceremonies with precision, pride, and professionalism. Members are trained in drill and ceremony, flag etiquette, and team coordination, serving as a visible symbol of respect, tradition, and the core values of JROTC—leadership, citizenship, and patriotism.

The Raider Team is the physical fitness and adventure challenge team within JROTC. Designed to push cadets beyond their limits, Raiders focus on strength, endurance, teamwork, and mental toughness. Competitions often include events like obstacle courses, rope bridge construction, cross-country runs, rucksack marches, and first aid challenges. Raider Team builds leadership, resilience, and camaraderie—preparing cadets to face any challenge with confidence and determination.

The JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl (JLAB) is a nationwide academic and leadership competition that challenges cadets to demonstrate their knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. The competition is divided into two categories: Leadership (focused on JROTC curriculum, leadership principles, and decision-making) and Academics (covering subjects like math, science, reading comprehension, and current events).

The JROTC Drone Team introduces cadets to the exciting world of drone technology, flight operations, and STEM-based learning. Cadets learn to safely operate small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), navigate obstacle courses, and perform precision flight tasks in both individual and team events.
