The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) is a leadership and citizenship development program sponsored by the U.S. Armed Forces and offered in high schools across the country. Our battalion provides cadets with opportunities to grow through academic instruction, physical training, team-building activities, and community service.
Cadets learn essential life skills such as responsibility, discipline, teamwork, and respect while gaining leadership experience in both classroom and extracurricular settings. The battalion is organized and led by cadets under the guidance of military instructors, simulating a real military command structure.
Through participation in special teams as well as leadership roles within the unit, cadets are challenged to rise to their potential and positively impact their school and community.
Any Poudre School District student grades 9-12 can join the program. Transportation is provided to every school for each student.
