The 2025–2026 school year is officially underway, and our battalion is off to a strong start! August has been a month full of energy, motivation, and momentum as returning cadets rejoin the ranks and new cadets begin their journey in JROTC. From the first uniform day to team tryouts and leadership rotations, we’re already seeing great things from all companies. This year promises to be one of growth, teamwork, and excellence!
Over the summer, a group of our cadets attended JCLC (Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge) — a multi-day adventure that tested their leadership, teamwork, and personal resilience. Held in a rugged outdoor environment, cadets participated in high-adrenaline activities including rappelling, land navigation, obstacle courses, water survival, and leadership reaction courses.
Our cadets represented the battalion with pride and discipline, stepping up to lead platoons, support their peers, and embody the Army values in everything they did. Many came back with not just new skills, but new confidence and lifelong friendships.
Well done to all who attended—you showed what our battalion is made of!
Also this summer, select cadets participated in a Marksmanship Training Camp, where they honed their skills in the prone, standing, and kneeling positions. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, cadets focused on safety, precision, and consistency in their shooting techniques.
We’re especially proud to announce that one of our own cadets took home 1st place in the final competition! This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to their discipline, focus, and hard work. Congratulations—you've set the bar high for the marksmanship season ahead!
As we move into September, our teams are forming, goals are being set, and cadets are stepping into leadership roles. Keep showing up, staying sharp, and supporting each other—this year is just getting started!
Stay motivated, stay respectful, and lead by example.
