Canvas community classic colorguard.
The 2026-2027 School year is now underway and the PSD Powder Battalion has been extremely active in the community only a few weeks into the school year, the battalion had the opportunity to have a color guard on each of the three canvas community classic games, and other games played by PSD Schools, along with the opportunity to present the colors at a handful of Colorado Rockies games.
We also have upcoming competition's for our archery and marksmanship teams, who will have the opportunity to compete against other cadets from Colorado, This is exciting because last year our archery and air rifle teams placed 3rd and 5th place respectively. The archery team has high aspirations this year being lead by Cadet Captain Ace Harris. the rifle team also hopes to do extremely well with top shooters returning.
The community classic was also an outstanding success for the battalion, and has helped us pick up additional publicity in the community, all cadets involved executed the event flawlessly and also supported there respective home schools as well as their fellow cadets home schools.
Looking to the future, the Battalion has a vast air rifle and archery competition season coming up, as well as color guards, and community events that new and returning cadets will all have an oppourtunity to compete in, its looking to be an exciting year for the battalion.
