Dear Parents and Guardians,
October is already upon us, and your child(ren) are working hard to meet their goals. In the SETSS program, students are learning strategies and skills that they can take back to their classrooms and apply to what they are learning there. In order for this to be successful, please ensure that your child is in school on time everyday, so SETSS sessions are not missed.
As a reminder, the Special Education Teacher Support Services program is specifically for special education students and is specially designed small group instruction. Our SETSS students receive instruction and support both in the SETSS room and in the general education classroom. Your child will receive an educational program that encompasses the goals and instructional strategies outlined in his/her Individual Education Program (IEP). The classroom teachers and I will work very hard to help your child achieve all of their goals and objectives.
I look forward to working with you all! Here’s to a productive school year!
From,
Ms. Calder
