First Grade

Hello Parents and Guardians,

We hope this message finds you well. It's been an amazing two months working alongside your wonderful children, and we couldn't be more thrilled about the learning journey that still lies ahead.

As teachers, we've had the privilege of getting to know your kids - their interests, preferences, and unique needs. Your child is beginning to see us as their guides, and we're also discovering how we can support them best.

This school year, our aim is to foster a strong sense of collaboration. By working together with you, we're confident that we can provide your child with all the tools they need for a successful 1st-grade experience.

We kindly encourage you to dedicate 15-20 minutes each night to read with your child. This simple yet powerful habit can have a profound impact on their development. Additionally, we'll be introducing sight words throughout the year, so please continue to practice these with your child to help reinforce their reading skills.
