This artistic journey will give the students an opportunity to create, to express themselves, and to respond to the world around them. The class will be inspired by literature, nature, fine art, music, and the beauty around us. The students will learn various artistic techniques and art education concepts e.g., elements of art and the principles of design among others, while experiencing different media such as, painting, sculpture, drawing, cutouts, and print. The students will cultivate not only their artistic skills, but also problem solving and visual thinking skills. All the supplies will be provided, so all the students need is to come ready to participate, to create and to encourage their classmates.
This course has an "A" and a "B" year which allows a student to take this course for two years.
