Leland Snowplay closes for the season when the weather has warmed up sufficiently to melt the snow. No snow = no snowplay.

Sadly, we are not able to predict the weather to a degree which allows us to set a definitive closing date in advance.

Traditionally, we close for the season by mid-April, giving you a long 16-18 week season. However, we have been open as late as May in the past, and during some of the recent drought years, we were forced to close as early as January.
