We are a student-led community service collaboration between the NSSLHA chapter of Sacramento State University and the Northern California LEND Training Program. These resources are gathered by students of the CSUS NSSLHA-LEND Collaboration for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
What is NSSLHA?
The National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association is comprised of students whose career goals largely consist of developing and supporting functional communication between populations such as those affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities, stroke, traumatic brain injury, voice transitions, or other conditions and their friends, family members and professional peers. These students seek to engage in leadership opportunities in order to grow academically and professionally. You can read more about the Sacramento State chapter of NSSLHA here.
What is LEND?
Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) is an interdisciplinary training program for clinicians, families, self-advocates, and community leaders involved with developmental disabilities. You can read more about the Northern California LEND program here.
