Welcome to Fallout New Vegas PAP
Sam emerges from the doomsday vault for the first time in his entire life, to be greeted to a barren wasteland. The dust burns his eyes as he squints to see a violent red sun. He looks down at his most prized possession, a painting from before the war. It was a lie. The green grass, the pleasant yellow sun, the deer; all of it a lie. Sam sighs, it has to be better than being stuck in that metal animal cage, right?
Venna sits in the corner of her uncle’s room clenching her handgun that he gave to her when she was ten. He is speaking to another subordinate of the UAF. She thinks to herself about how he wasted his life for some stupid faction, that squabbles with other factions to try to gain more of the barren land. Still, for some reason this mission is difficult for her to finish; he was always nice to her, despite her uninterest in aligning to a specific faction. That being said, his head is worth 10000 bottle caps. Venna whispers “I’m sorry” as she slowly squeezes the trigger.
Axil isn’t depressed like everyone else, at least, he thinks so. The comforting chill of his metal wrench still sat in the pocket of his overalls. Yuri, his robot, rolled along beside him, as he ran to see if he could find any spare parts at the town's dump. The only thing that he wasn’t thrilled about at the moment was the energy pistol he was forced to make and carry around by his mom. She had become paranoid ever since his dad died to a radroach. Axil suddenly stops because the dump is engulfed in a massive fire.
