Troubleshooting Downloads

MY    PROGRAM    WON'T    DOWNLOAD!!!!

Auuuuuggggghhhh!!

FIRST, look behind your monitor. The box behind your monitor is the actual computer. The cable at the top, shown in the photo is the audio cable. If your audio cable is not plugged in here, your cable will not work. Make sure it is plugged in.

If it is plugged in, there are some steps you can follow to make sure the audio is turned up all the way and there are no settings on the computer that are preventing the audio from working correctly. Read on to find out more.

In the bottom, right corner of your screen, find the  speaker icon. Click it and make sure it is turned up to 100.

Still not working? The following steps should do the trick.

2. Find the little "Settings" icon that looks like a gear. Click it.

3. A window will open with a number of options. Click on the one that says " System   Display, sound, notifications, power"

4. On the right, click on "Sound" and make sure the Master volume is turned all the way up to 100.

5. Now,

SCROLL

down, until you see "Sound Control Panel".

Click it.

6. A panel titled "Sound" should open.

Click on the Speakers/Headphones item so that is selected/highlighted.

Then, click "Properties".

7. When the new window opens, select the "Advanced" tab.

8. Look for the little box that says "Enable audio enhancements."

If it has a check in the box, click it to UNCHECK IT.

I repeat UNcheck it.

Then click OK.

You should end up back here.

9. This time, select the "Communications" tab.

10. When the new window opens, select "Do nothing" if it is not selected already. Then click OK.

Now, hope that it all works. 🙏
