We started today back in the North End to find another interview. We unfortunately didn't find free parking today but we carried on nonetheless and began to walk around. The Paul Revere statue was a bust because all the people there were tourists and didn't have enough experience with Boston. We talked to two other individuals (one who may have been mafia-affiliated) who were talkative with us but didn't think they would say anything significant enough for our interview. Finally, we approached an older Irish gentleman named Bill who offered us a long, thoughtful interview. He is a retired man who has been living in the North End for over 20 years and spends his retirement sitting along Hanover Street talking to people, like us. He expressed how he liked the school system in Boston and how diverse the community is. His biggest complaint was the parking in the area, which we all agree with. After our interview with Bill, we left the North End and headed to meet one of Griffin's aunts, who is a judge in Dorchester, Boston's largest neighborhood. We took our camera equipment in through the metal detectors, got an escort to her office, and sat down with her on her lunch break. We weren't able to take pictures, but we set up our video camera on a tripod to get a steady angle. Griffin took the liberty of interviewing her and we brainstormed more specific questions beforehand to ask her. It was a great interview because she had such insightful answers about her job and the judicial system, Boston and Dorchester, and the current state of her community and the greater world. After our triumphant interviews, we returned home to review, upload, and edit. After work, we returned to the park to play basketball with Adam's little cousin.Â
