Today was a productive start to the week. Looking to get away from the college campuses we had mostly been visiting the prior week, we drove into Boston's Seaport District. It's the city's newest and most modern neighborhood, serving as a hub of luxury hotels and condos, technology, and beautiful waterfront parks. After taking forever to find parking, we walked around the district at about noon to catch people on their lunch breaks, but most of the people we talked to were busy or uninterested. Nonetheless, we got 2 interviews from people who were out enjoying a walk along the waterline. After our time at the Seaport, we pivoted to the North End, Boston's "Little Italy." We roamed the tight streets filled with Italian restaurants and found an older gentleman who had been living there for 71 years to interview. The historic buildings were great photography subjects. After we left the North End, we returned home and hopped on a Zoom call with our mentor, Pete. He patiently helped us set up a Dropbox where we can drop files into a shared folder, and he also showed us a little Adobe Premiere Pro technique. To end our busy day, we played basketball in a park overlooking the city skyline.
