We had a fairly busy Cinco de Mayo. Firstly, we drove to the Alewife T station and took the red line. We tried to interview a T worker but he said he couldn't do an interview due to some company policy. After we got off the train at Park Street, a lovely older women names Lindsay asked us what we were taking pictures for. After briefly explaining our project, she asked to be interviewed, and so we captured our first interview! Magnus sat down with her and discussed some things about life in Boston and the biggest issues she sees in the city. Our mics worked great and the recording looked very nice. We continued through the park again and talked to some university students enjoying the beautiful day. We continued to walk around and get photos and videos before heading back home to have a zoom call with our mentor, Pete. Pete checked in and talked to us about how we could begin to edit, and how to structure our documentary so we can make it cohesive and have a good storyline. We reviewed our video footage and some photos and we went back out to Harvard and Harvard Square. Although we asked a plethora of people, no one was available or willing, so we will head back tomorrow.
