Title: Current and Next Generation Millimeter-wave Surveys
Abstract: Millimeter-wave surveys of the sky have the potential for yielding a wealth of information about our universe from the first instants of its existence to our own solar system. I will describe how modern measurements of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) are being used to measure how our universe has evolved over cosmic time leading to a better understand the fundamental parameters governing its nature. I will present recent results from the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) and future plans for the Simons Observatory program.
