Data Protection
Primary Advantage has effective back up procedures. The system is backed up on a daily basis in duplicate and a full back up is done once a month. Only authorised software is used in order to prevent copyright abuse and to reduce the risk from viruses.
Each member of staff has a password for access to the relevant network used within Primary Advantage. Passwords should not be disclosed to anyone.
If you forget your password, please speak to the Federation Finance and Business Director or the HR & Administration Officer.
COMPUTERS ARE USED BY ADULTS IN SCHOOL FOR WORK-RELATED PURPOSES ONLY DURING WORKING HOURS.
Computers, laptops and iPads in school are for work-related purposes only. Staff are not permitted to use networking sites such as Facebook during the school day. Members of staff may be provided with a laptop and/or iPad to be able to work in multiple schools. An Asset off Site form will need to be completed in order to grant permission for the equipment to be used off the main school site. Without this agreement, the staff member cannot take the item outside of Holy Trinity. When returning the equipment, the form also has to be signed.
Staff may be provided a work mobile. This mobile should only be used for work related purposes. Although the same conditions apply, the phone should be used with discretion.
Desktop Computers
All computers should be shut down at the end of the working day to conserve energy. It is each staff member’s responsibility to ensure that their own desktop computer is shut down.
Email Communication
Communication via technology is to be maintained at a professional level. Do not send anything via email that would not be appropriate to say to someone in person. It is expected that staff members should respond to emails within 2 working days to ensure that Primary Advantage runs smoothly at a professional level.
What Is the Property Law?

This includes anything from resources to policies to teaching programmes such as the PA maths programme, any AWL documents etc. These resources, programmes and policies should not be shared with anyone outside the school, or taken with you in the event you leave our employment without prior consent from the Executive Principal
Also, the Federation has automatic copyright on anything you produce for use in work, whilst you are an employee of the Federation.
If you have any questions on any of this, please do seek advice from the Executive Principal.
