Sian joined St John & St James as Headteacher in September 2000 when the school was reopened as a 'new' school following the closure of the pre existing school on the same site. The Federation was kick started in 2004 when St John and St James and Holy Trinity started working together, eventually forming a hard federation.
Sian has continued to lead the federation since then working with schools across the country as a National Leader of Education. She is an active member of the Hackney family of schools and supported the Local Authority for a period of 4 years as 'interim' Director of Education.
Venessa has worked for the Federation since 2013 within the Central Team. During this time, Venessa has supported schools by training new staff and supporting some of the schools once they joined the federation. She continues to provide support for members of staff across the federation, specifically, the Headteachers, Finance & Admin Managers and the admin teams.
Sandra joined PA in 2017 and manages the training programme for the federation, the PA Maths Programme, coordinates placements and training for the ITT students who train in our schools, and manages external partnerships, outreach and projects which help bring new ideas, expertise and opportunities into the federation.
Sandra has worked in education all her career in different settings. She taught English abroad, was director of an English language school in London and later worked in Adult and Community Learning in London, where she taught adults and young people, ran a learning centre and developed a wellbeing curriculum and outreach programme for the local community.
