Course Description: 6th grade math focuses on topics designed to prepare students for 7th grade level and beyond. Students will explore mathematics in the areas of Number Systems, Ratios and Proportions, Expressions and Equations, Geometry, and Statistics and Probability.  The topics include: factors and multiples, decimal operations, ratios, rational numbers, and equivalence, fraction operations, geometry, algebra, statistics and data analysis.
