Multnomah County Eviction Prevention Program
May be able to provide financial or legal assistance with non-payment of rent evictions for households with an eviction notice. Cannot assist with evictions issued due to property damage, illegal activity, or creating a nuisance. Assistance is not guaranteed and is determined on a case-by-case basis. There may be a waitlist and assistance is not same day or immediate. Partnering agencies work to assist households as fast as possible.
Eligibility: Household with any type of eviction notice for non-payment of rent (72-hour, 10-day, 30-day, court ordered, notice of restitution)

St. Andrew Catholic Church
Provides financial assistance with past due electric, natural gas, heating oil, and rent bills. Households are eligible to receive assistance only once during a 12-month period.

Provides short-term rental assistance. Assistance depends on available funding and is not guaranteed. Prioritizes families enrolled in Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) services. Serves all other community members on a first-come, first-served basis.

Provides rent assistance, rental deposit assistance, and rent application fee assistance along with housing case management services. Provides rent payment assistance. Assistance is limited to available funding and is not guaranteed.

Be at substantial risk of experiencing homelessness

Oregon Housing and Community Services
Assists with past-due rent and future rent up to one month. Provides rental fees and rental security deposits, which may include pet fees, housing-related legal fees, partial payments to reduce the housing debt, and application fees. Utility assistance, such as electricity, gas, water, and sewage (paid to the landlord or utility company), and repairs and damage costs up to $2,500. Assistance is not guaranteed and is based on funding availability. A household can receive assistance only once during the Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) biennium cycle (July 2025-June 2027).

Household income is at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI)

OHP HRSN (Health-Related Social Needs)
Important update regarding OHP HRSN (Health-Related Social Needs) requests for climate, food, and housing support. They may be able to aid with rent, beds, clothing, etc. based on a medical need.
You may apply for Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) or Flex Funds by contacting your Coordinated Care Organization (CCO). Health Share of Oregon’s Customer Service number is 1-888-519-3845. Health Share is currently prioritizing members who are facing eviction, followed by other urgent needs.
Please also note that 211 Info is no longer assisting with processing OHP HRSN requests. OHP members will now need to contact Health Share directly and request to speak with their CCO team to begin the process.
