Integrated 1 Chapter 1

Chapter 1 builds on graphs, tables, and equations from Math 8. Students learn what a function is and how to use tables, graphs, and equations to find inputs and outputs. Students also learn how to describe functions including using domain and range. Properties of exponents are revisited and increase in complexity from Math 8.

Checkpoint Review: Students master different skills at different speeds. No two students learn exactly the same way at the same time. At some point you will be expected to perform certain skills accurately. Most of the Checkpoint problems incorporate skills previously developed. Each chapter has a different skill that should be mastered.
