Students can either go to student.desmos.com and type in the code or you can share the link on google classroom or MyConnect
You can monitor questions from your dashboard.
Don’t pre-introduce vocabulary. After the first round see what students are using and then name the concept before playing again.
Works best on Chromebooks in teams of 2 (if you have at least 30 students, otherwise individual)
Works best at the beginning of a unit for vocabulary or at the end a review
Press pause for the class discussion.
Have them use their real first name for “credit” or even better sign in through Google (gives them that option), it is easier for you to monitor and assess.
The beginning part of each activity builder has a practice round with people (instead of math). Students can click "skip" to go right to the math activity.
