The Honorary Consulate of Portugal in Utah, organized, on October 11, 2024, the second annual Consular Visit to the state of Utah. During the day we welcomed more than 30 individuals and families, who were supported by Sr. Consular Technician, Mariana Azevedo Alves.
These annual Consular Visits allow Portuguese and Portuguese-descendants to renew passports and citizen cards, without having to travel to San Francisco, California.
We express our gratitude to the consular support essential for the management of these events, especially to Mariana, who was tireless in her support of our families.
We are also grateful to Cristina Adriano Cowley, operator of Tuga Treats, for providing the delicious rolls with choriço and pasteis de nata, with which we graced our visitors throughout the day.
Luis Camara Manoel, Honorary Consul said: "In all possible measures this event was a success, in terms of interest and strong community turnout, in terms of the high number of consular acts supported by Mariana, in fact, the whole way in which the Consulate General of San Francisco supported us, in the planning and organization of the event, everything just worked as planned, a success to be repeated!"
Consular Visits to Utah are held annually, requiring all interested parties to book an appointment. Consultations are limited, and registration usually opens in the first quarter of each year, and is published on this website and on our social networks.
