Portuguese citizens residing in the state of Utah and neighboring states, can now renew their passports and citizen cards without having to travel to the Consulate of Portugal in San Francisco, thanks to the annual consular visits which now come to our state regularly. 

This time, the third annual consular visit to the state of Utah will take place over two days, due to the strong demand we experienced during the 2024 consular stay. 

The 2025 consular visit will take place on September 22 and 23, 2025, in the city of Herriman, south of the Salt Lake Valley, at the following address: 5623 West Mirabella Drive, HERRIMAN, Utah 84096 United States (Show on map).

We urge those who need these services to schedule an appointment promptly, as they are often filled quickly. Registration can be completed using the form provided below.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Consular Acts: The only consular acts that can be performed during this consular visit are limited to:

- Citizen Card renewal
- Passport renewal

No other services can be provided at these consular visits.

2. Scheduling: Appointments run about 10 minutes for each individual, for each consular act. If the individual wishes to renew both a passport and citizen card, he/she will need to schedule two 10 minute appointments.

3. Personal Appointments: Families must schedule 10 minutes for each person who may need to access these consular services, for example, a mother and child who need to renew their passports each will need a 10-minute reservation. If they also need to renew their citizen cards they will need, each, an additional 10 minutes.
