What is your favorite food?
Steak filet mignon.

If you could be in any place in the world, where would it be?
Love to go to Ireland, part Irish and all the pictures look green and pretty, people friendly.
Did you teach any other grades besides 6th grade?
Teaching assistant in 5th and 8th grades.
Where were you born?
Long Island
Did you teach any other subjects besides Math and Science?
One year ELA and one year Social Studies.
What is your favorite subject to teach?
Math
Do you have any pets?
Bernedoodle named Liberty.
What are your hobbies?
Driving my kids to all of their activities.
Why did you pick teaching as a career?
Because my mom is a teacher and I like helping kids.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
When my parents told me I was going to be a big sister.
If you could meet any person in the world, alive or dead, and have dinner with them, who would it be?
I would have dinner with Dolly Parton because she was a hard worker and very successful and very philanthropic.
When you were in 6th grade, what type of student were you?
I was a hard worker and I was shy.
What is your favorite movie?
“The Sandlot” because it’s about how kids included a boy who couldn’t play with them, and because it’s funny.
If you didn’t pick teaching as a career, what would you be?
I would probably be an occupational therapist.
What is your favorite song, and why?
“Castle on the hill” by Ed Sheeran because it’s about friendship.
What was your favorite subject during 6th grade, and why?
Math, because I was good at it and I liked figuring things out.
Who is your idol, or any person you look up to?
My grandfather because he was a hard worker and he was always trying to have fun. People liked him.

No, I would probably stick with teaching

When the kids come in happy
What are your traditions for the first day of school?
I make a fifth grade goodie bag
If you won the lottery, would you give up teaching and what would you buy first?
I would buy things for people in need and make sure my family was set.
What is your Favorite unit to teach?
Geometry unit in math
