Book review of
The False Prince
By, Eliza Chaudhary
This is a story of betrayal, lying, karma, romance and bravery. The False Prince is about orphans Tobias, Sage and Roden. They get selected by Connor who is the main antagonist to try and Impersonate Jaren. Jaron was the lost price. He was lost at sea, going to a boarding school in Advina after pulling on his fathers last nerve. Jaron is intelligent, stubborn, sarcastic, mischievous, and strong. We read the book from Sages perceptive. Sage is mischievous, intelligent, brave and extremely cocky. Unlike Roden and Tobias he did not choose to be there so he is constantly trying to find his way out. Roden is seen as a protagonist at the beginning of the book. He is not as intelligent as Tobias and Sage, determined, afraid and hard working. He wanted to be king at first but when he fingered out the dangers of being king and how he would just be controlled by Connor he wanted to get out. Tobias is seen as the bratty one because he tries to make the others fail so he can succeed. Tobias is the one who wants to be there the most, being incredibly intelligent and competitive he is determined to get Connor's approval to become the new prince. Conner is the mastermind behind this all; he is the one who got these 3 orphans and wanted them to impersonate the prince for his own benefit. He is smart, strong, manipulative and stubborn. The conflict is that Tobias, Rodan and Sage all are trapped in the castle and forced to fight against each other as they slowly lose their morals. Also even if they do get out they have nowhere to go because they are all orphans and Conner can easily find people to kill them. They will be tested on skill, knowledge, looks, and bravery. The writing in the book was so detailed that you feel that you are really in it! For all these reasons I give the book the false Prince a 5/5 stars.
I would recommend this book because it was very interesting and had an incredible plot. This book is about a teenager named Julie who thinks her entire future is ruined after her dreams of going to college are destroyed. One day at a thrift shop she finds these oil paintings that glow in the dark to reveal the most eerie and ominous images. Julie becomes enthralled and bewitched by these paintings. She begins to collect these paintings and is determined to discover the artist. She continues to grow more and more obsessed with these paintings and she goes to every thrift store she knows, she does endless research, and soon she begins to discover Lydia and her sister’s stories. Lydia and her sisters all work at a factory where everyday they unknowingly consume poison. Even though they are separated by a 100 years their stories become more and more intertwined.

As good as dead
As Good as Dead by Holly Jackson is about a girl named Pip. Pip is being stalked by someone but she doesn’t know who is stalking her. Pip goes to the police but they don’t believe her, the police think that Pip is going crazy because someone she cares about died. Later on in the book I found out that Pip was being stalked by the DT killer. In the book, the DT killer kidnaps Pip and almost kills her, but Pip escapes eventually getting out of the room the DT killer had trapped her in. Pip killed the DT killer and frames it on Max who had raped a lot of Pip's friends. I found the book a bit boring in the beginning but as I kept on reading I started to like the book.
