Restaurants Around Town
New York is a coastal state. That is good for us because towns in New York have many cultures represented. It may feel overwhelming at times to pick between all of these cultures when we eat. This article's goal is to educate you about the choices that you have near Plainview. I hope you find this article informative and enjoy our ratings.
Have you heard of the new restaurant in town? What about Mad for Chicken? It is really popular. I have not been in the store so my service rating will be about my experience on the phone, and the food. Anyway, this restaurant is your classic American food place. Chicken products make up most of the menu. Also, when this restaurant says spicy, they mean spicy. I had to learn that the hard way. When I ate the first wing, it was like fire on my tongue. It is 4.3 stars so I had high hopes when I tried it. I will tell you more about my experience when I rate this. The food is 3.5 out of 5. It is really good, but after the first wing, your stomach won't be happy. I would have given this a 4 if it was not for that. I have to give the service a 3.5. It was not bad, but the delivery time was too slow for me to rate any higher. I do not know if it was the delivery driver's fault or not. Order this 30 minutes to an hour before you get hungry for best results. Again, I had to learn this the hard way. I will rate this a 3.5. Everything is good, but there are things that would push me away from giving it a 4 or 5.
Another new restaurant is Taim. It is a Mediterranean cuisine. They have very good humus and pita. They have a family meal that serves about four people. Their chicken and falafel is also very good. Falafel comes in a salad like or in a pita. The food is 4.5/5. However, their service is really slow. I ordered online and in store. When I ordered online it took 40 minutes! When it was ordered in the store it took 30 minutes. Online it says that people have had experiences where staff have yelled at them. The owner did respond by apologizing. The service rating is a 2.5/5. Overall I would rate Taim a 3.5/5 because of the service.
The next restaurant that I will talk about is Kura conveyor belt sushi. It is pretty new and is an amazing restaurant. It has two conveyor belts. One on the bottom for random sushi to go around the track. And one that is faster for direct orders. It is rated a 3.8 out of 5. The service is a 4.5. The conveyor belt sushi is a convenient system that is easy to learn to use. Each table has a screen to take food orders. Drink orders are done manually. They could have included drink orders in the tablet which would make ordering more convenient. That is because you have 2 mediums to order. They have friendly robots that are very cute that take your drink to you. So that forgives it a little. The plates are small and only have three pieces of sushi. That allows you to have a more variety of rolls. For every 5 places to eat, you get a little animation. For every 15, you get a small prize.
An amazing restaurant in Old Bethpage would have to be Villa Monte. They serve Italian food. They have a quick walk in pizza section. If you decide to walk in it takes around 5 minutes. They also have another area where you can sit down and get pasta or other Italian foods. They have endless options for pizza. They have vegan pizzas, clam pizzas, chicken pizzas, and vegetable pizzas. The food is 5/5. The service is quick and they are very kind and understanding. The service is 4.5/5. The overall rating is 4.8/5.
I hope you visit some of these places and enjoy their food.
