OTA members pick a topic that interests them, read, and then discuss a relevant article on that topic. It's a great way to learn more about the field, stay up-to-date, and practice Evidence-Based Practice.
OTA Students helped take vital signs and memory screenings at several health fairs over the years. It's a great way to give back to the community while also gaining real world experience.

Community Garden
SOTA Members planted & maintained a garden. The harvest was donated to the Pima Food Bank and given to students in need of food.
Creating Walker Bags
SOTA students sewed walker bags they later donated to local nursing home residents.
