Class Info Application: The purpose of this assignment is for students to explore what they have learned to date and how that knowledge is used and applied in an OT practice setting. Complete the chart below according to the instructions in each of the categories.
Curriculum Threads: The purpose of this assignment is to link the OTA Program curriculum threads to what the student observes in practice. For each of the six curriculum threads, the student is to write at least one example of how they observed the thread during the fieldwork experience. Curriculum Threads include: Foundation, Occupational Therapy Tenets/ Theory/Process and Language, Clinical Reasoning, Occupational Performance, Therapeutic Use of Self, and Professionalism.
Client Log: The students will maintain a client log of all of the clients that they observe during their week on fieldwork. The log will contain each client's diagnosis (if known), strengths, limitations, interventions used and psychosocial considerations. A minimum of seven clients are expected to be included in the log.
