Students who are new to Foothill at the beginning of the school year are invited to attend a student orientation held right before school starts. You will receive information on the date and time over the summer. New Student Orientation is an assembly before the kick off of the new school year centered on getting new students comfortable with navigating campus. Students meet in the large gym for a rally-style event, mingle with other students in icebreaker activities, and break out into smaller, themed groups with "Senior Buddies" for a complete tour and explanation of Foothill's campus.
Parents and students who are new to the Pleasanton Unified School District are invited to an orientation also held right before school starts to introduce parents to PUSD and to give students another chance to get to know the campus, and ask questions of students here at Foothill High School. The New Student page on the foothillfalcons.org website will provide information on the date and time of this orientation.
