Saturday Sports in Junior School is only available for students in Years 3, 4 ,5 and 6. Girls in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will have the opportunity to participate in the following Saturday Team Sports in 2022 in the IPSHA Competition. The emphasis in IPSHA Sport is participation and enjoyment whilst acquiring the basic skills of each sport. Matches are played against other schools such as MLC, Ascham and Abbotsleigh. Frequently used venues include PLC Sydney, Pymble, Moore Park, Centennial Park, MLC and Neutral Bay.
Sports should only be selected if a definite commitment can be made. Where possible, training will be on the following afternoons:
Year 6: Tuesday afternoon
Year 5: Thursday afternoon
Year 3 and 4: Friday afternoon
Please note that in Term 1, 2022 the following sports are available for Junior students. All relevant information about PLC Sydney Sports, including trials, training and draws are accessible via the co curricular tile on PLACES, or by clicking on the links below.
Water Polo - for Years 5 and 6 ONLY
Water Polo is a strenuous sport and players need to be confident swimmers to be able to play and enjoy the sport. As a guide, students should be able to swim 200m in deep water without stopping.
If you would like your daughter to play Saturday Sport in Term 1, 2022, please complete the form below. Upon submitting your registration, a non refundable fee (unless a medical certificate is supplied or covid restrictions are in place) of $105 for participation will automatically be charged to your school account.
