SEED is the school’s environment and sustainability group at PLC. Students and staff come together to discuss the school’s sustainability issues and collaborate on finding solutions to these challenges. The team works towards reducing the school’s environmental footprint by increasing environmental awareness among the school community. SEED hosts events such as Sustainability Day, waste audits, and a Sustainable Fashion market. SEED is an integral part of the One Million Turtle Program at PLC, where turtle hatchlings are cared for to protect them from fox attacks and then returned to their original environment. Often, students organise or represent PLC at inter-school forums, competitions, workshops, seminars, and excursions relevant to environmental topics.
