Art Masterclass

Art Masterclass is a specialist six-week class designed to extend artmaking skills in a professional art school atelier setting.  In 2026 there will be two Art Masterclasses:

Term 1  - Tuesday Afternoons 3.15 pm - 5.15 pm commencing 17 February

Senior Painting Masterclass with Lilli Stromland: This six-week after-school specialist art class designed to extend senior Visual Arts students' skills in painting and representing forms with oils and acrylic paint. This course aims to support Year 11 and HSC Body of Work development. Students are required to bring in a composition they have photographed or drawn from life to develop a work from.  A fee of $70.00 will contribute towards materials and artist tuition. 

Ms Knight, Head of Visual Arts will supervise the class. 

Term 2 Wednesday Afternoons 3.15 pm - 5.15 pm commencing  22 April 

Experimental Drawing with Jody Graham: This is a six-week after-school specialist art class designed to extend the skills of Visual Arts students from Years 9 - 11. The class will focus on establishing and extending skills in representing the human face and architecture. An emphasis on achieving accurate proportion and building depth, form, and volume in a range of drawing media, as well as the employment of experimentation. The class is strictly limited to 15 students. A fee of $70.00 will contribute towards materials and artist tuition.

Ms Knight, Head of Visual Arts will supervise the class.
