Graphic Communication
In Graphic Communication, S3 pupils will continue to develop their graphic skill and learn some new ones in order to prepare them for their senior national phase. Pupils will develop skills in 2D and 3D sketching techniques, colour theory and rendering, formal drawing techniques, computer 2D and 3D drawing, and also desktop publishing techniques.
Practical Woodwork
In Practical Woodwork, S3 pupils develop previously learned skills by making a series of Frame type wood joints.
They will deepen their learning by using these skills to create a wooden mug tree.
Whilst most of the course is practical, pupils will develop their knowledge and understanding of Practical Woodwork by working through a series of worksheets designed to reinforce and support their practical work.
