Coach heaphy has been the lead man at Taconic for over 21 years and coaching at the high school level in Pittsfield for over 30 years. Heaphy is a staple in the basketball community of Pittsfield having run a youth basketball camp for 15+ years. Coach Heaphy and his players come off their first State Championship in school history for the team this past year and are looking to build on that momentum. 

Coach is excited for his up and coming players this season and is going to need some big play from his forwards. Taconic basketball is always known to have student athletes that are going to come out and compete hard and this upcoming season will be no different. The season kicks off December 11 @ E. Longmeadow, with their first home game coming on December 19th.
