Corkpals

Requirment/Project name:this project is called cork pals and we get corks and measure the diameter and then make an animals that fits on the cork. the requirements are that you have to have a head, a body and a bottom.

Brainstorm: I started out by making the base which was my ring with a back. Then once I had that I thought of an easy animal to make and I settled on a dog. Next I thought of what kind of dog I wanted to make, and I decided on a wiener dog because the cork I was using was very long. After I had an idea for the dog then I thought of another animal, preferably a more complex one, and I decided on a meerkat, a cute little animal. The recources I used were only the 3d printers and I seached up a few photos of the animals.

Procedure: I started off by making a prototype of the animals. for the dog I used a cylinder and attached to one side of the base and then on top of the cylinder i added a half circle and then two small cylinders as legs. then I added a tail that looks like a stinger, but its a tail. then for the face half of the dog I used a cylinder and made it short then I added a circle for the head and added more cylinders for legs. i drew out some ears and added them on. then i added two small circles for eyes, then I added another cylinder and added a small half circle as a nose and I drew a mouth.

Procedure: I started off by copying and pasting the base from the dog and I added a similar tail. I used half circles for feet and then I started on the head. I added a half circle on top of the other half and added some eyes. thne I added the same shape of the tail and I shortened it slightly to make a mouth. then I added a small button nose on the mouth and added some little triangle ears. I made another ring and added some circles on it to represent the hands.

SOUL Reflections :

S- the strength of my work I believe was good. it was aligned and if fit nicely.

O- the opportunities I was given gave me plenty of time and I should have finished my portfolio but sadly I did not. I should have focused more on it.

WISCR- I believe I was well rounded in this project because I did my best to stay on task, I brainstormed my ideas ,tested my ideas, and helped others.
