step 1: Group Theme

You and a partner will collaborate on a specific theme. Your end result should visually communicate that theme. Each group member will create their own design, 1 design will be lasered.

Step 2: Stencil Image Search

You will be google searching a silhouette that connects with your theme

Adobe Illustrator Part 1: New document / Import images

New Document

Create a new Document 25 X 15 Inches

Copy and paste

Copy and paste object into the new document

End Result

Adobe Illustrator Part 2: Tracing image

Select image

select the image that you would like to cut out with the laser

Click Trace Image

Click the option "Trace Image", on the top control panel

Adobe Illustrator Part 3: Adding Text

Select Type tool

Use the type tool to add a box of text. The text will be in Latin, please don't be scared

Add wanted text

highlight your existing Latin Text, and type in wanted text. To change the font size, the text must be highlighted.

Change font to "Stencil"

Make your life easy and change the font to "Stencil"
