Students in 1st grade will build on the basic skills learned in kindergarten and continue to highlight the elements of art. Students will learn to foster their creative abilities, develop self-expression, self-confidence and self-discipline. Continued emphasis will be placed on developing respect for their own artwork and the artwork of others.
