Eighth Grade
Course Overview
During eighth grade art, students will learn a wide variety of techniques with an emphasis on the Principles of Design. Students will use their knowledge of the Elements of Art with a focus on dimension and space using both two and three-dimensional surfaces. Students will develop new ideas about color theory centered around various painting and glazing techniques. Students will continue to develop their own self-expression and continue their discovery of art literacy in the real world with a focus on advertisements and career options.
