Sixth Grade
Course Overview
During sixth grade art, students will make multi-cultural connections and use prior knowledge from other subject areas to influence their art making. With a strong connection to art history, students will view art from various cultures from around the world to inspire architectural drawings, landscape paintings, found object sculptures, clay relief designs, and scratch art illustrations. Students will continue to review the Elements of Arts through a variety of mediums and learn to express themselves and their own ideas through art.
