Introduction to A Level Geography

Meet our Programme Manager for Geography

Mary-Ellen Whalley

Programme Manager

With degrees in Environmental Science and Water Technology and Management, Mary-Ellen has worked at Petroc for the past 12 years, guiding students through fascinating aspects of Human and Physical Geography.

By studying A Level Geography with us, you could have the opportunity to visit Iceland! Previous students walked along the European and North American plate boundary, experienced exploding geysers and ate fermented shark. The snow hole entry into a lava tube cave was unexpected, as was the 35m descent down two spiral staircases!
