The primary purpose of the Kankakee Area Career Center (KACC) is to meet the Career and Technical Education needs of regional high school students. The underlying function of the Career Center is to prepare students to select viable career paths and obtain the training and skills essential for continuing education and/or the job market. Depending on the program, completion of preliminary college level coursework.

GRADE
11-12
Prerequisites:
Junior status; good academic standing, discipline and attendance as determined by the school administration. Students cannot drop a KACC course without approval from Administration.
Fees
The PHS transportation fee for this course is a non-refundable $200.00 payment due prior to the start of the school year (fees are subject to change). There is a $50 cancellation fee if the course is dropped after May 1st. Additional individual course costs are listed on the KACC application (fees are subject to change). KACC fees do not qualify for fee waiver.
Note
PHS reserves the right to invoke its own disciplinary penalties upon students who violate the school policies while attending classes or functions related to the KACC.
